Sir,
Mrs. Rajinder Kaur Bulara, member Parliament of so called the biggest democracy of the world, stunned the audience when addressing the congregation at Silver Spring Gurdwara in the vicinity of Washington D.C. she started with the happenings on Baisakhi day at Amritsar when Nark dhaaris with the support of the then Government killed 12 Amrit dhari Sikhs. This brought the change in the mind’ of her deceased husband. She gave the example how killings in that country are being carried ‘out without any body being questioned. Her husband’s younger brother a Captain going back to rejoin after 28 days of his marriage was murdered in broad day light inspite of being in uniform, because he was a Sikh. She said, “I was arrested and taken to a village Dugari in Ludhiana Dist., handled by the hair and was tortured”.
For corruption there is no limit, Governor has no authority for enquiries, we have been asked not to call murdered freedom fighters Shaheeds. Every family has suffered in Punjab. We have been turned in to slavery in these 42 years by the Hindu Govt. About the Siri Sahib’s protest of Simranjit Singh not taking oath as a member of Indian Parliament, she said by forsaking your basic religious rights you follow the Hindu Govt. illegitimate interference in our religion, which even their constitution allows. Moreover there is no use going and sitting in the Parliament without any prestige.
Dr. NauNihal Singh said this is not the first time that ban on Kirpan has been tried. When Punjab was annexed by the British, they did the same but being intelligent they soon realized their mistake. They again tried to limit the size to 9 inches in 193839 protest started and within a few days’ time they had to repeal that too. This Brahmanical followers of Shankaracharyas think by promulgating ban on Siri Sahib next it will be easy to ask the Sikhs to shave their heads, do not bow down to Guru Granth Sahib and so on. We have to think to the future this is not the end this is just the beginning.
If you have to bow to these pressures then why are we fighting for our own independent country? Why are we sacrificing our future generations? Have we any conscience? Can Sikhs accept defeat? No!
