Two militants short dead five passengers and injured two others in Bathinda district around 0715 hours Wednesday.
The two militants traveling in the private rama-moga bus forcibly stopped it near mandi kalan and. opened indiscriminate fire on passengers of one community killing five and injuring two. They then escaped despite the massive deployment of security personnel in view of next week’s elections in the state.
In two other incidents militants shot dead Balbir Singh alias beer a in Amritsar City while Jagjit Singh was shot dead at Jagraon.
