BANGALORE (PTI):Three women died and four were critically injured in a blast last week at Kalamaddanahalli about 25 kms from Mysore city in the southern Indian state of Kamataka.
Top police sources said here last week that Mushtaq Ahmed a factory owner was arrested by Mysore police on charges of manufacturing explosives. He possessed a license to only store and sell explosives for supply to quarries but not for manufacturing them the sources said.
The roof of the factory was blown into bits and the bodies of four women workers ripped beyond recognition.
Police also recovered 50 bags of Sulphur 90 boxes of detonators gelatin sticks and 29 boxes of fuse wire from the factory the Sources added.
