NEW DELHI, India, July 4, Twenty-three people were killed and 45 injured today when a bus plunged 100 meters (yards) into a ravine in the northern state of Jammu and Kashmir.
The Press Trust of India said all the injured, eight of them in critical condition, were taken to hospital by three army helicopters.
The bus was carrying 70 people.
