FRESNO, CA: Young Guns of Yuba City won the 2nd Annual Basketball Tournament held here on March 17th and 18th. New Edition from San Joaquin were the runners up while Running Rivals also from San Joaquin were awarded the consolation prize,
Altogether 13 teams took part from all over California.

In finals Young Guns overcame New Edition 57-48. There were a lot of exciting games, and two of them went into overtime. The tournament committee selected ten players for their outstanding abilities. Those players were:

The organizers Azad Sports Club from Selma have done well, as has been amply demonstrated by the huge success it had for the last two years. Now they are already looking to the 1991 tournament. The financial support was provided by the community from central California.
