NEW DELHI: Pakistan Foreign Minister Sahabzada Yaqub Khan will arrive here on January 23 to discuss issues related to the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC).
Khan’s visit would also be utilized to discuss bilateral relations.
Khan had visited Colombo last month to finalize a date for the delayed SAARC summit. The Sri Lankan government has offered to host the summit in April.
It was originally planned to be held in Colombo in November. Sri ‘Lanka, however, declined to host the summit as long as the Indian peacekeeping force remained on its soil.
The National Front government is committed to complete reduction of the IPKF by March 31.
