Bhai Harinder singh Khalsa, Secretary of the S.G.P.C. replying a letter from WSN in which the” correspondence from Mr. Harbhajan Singh Yogi’s attorney has given the wing reply. (Ed. Dear Mr, Singh,
This matter has been discussed with SGPG president, Gurcharan Singh Tohra who has said; “Mr. ‘Harbhajan Singh Yogi was never “awarded the title of Bhai Sahib or Siri Singh Sahib, nor is there any religious tradition of this title being conferred on anyone except the five Jathedars of the Takhats.” Mr, Tohra further said that, “Yogi was never appointed as the chief “Parcharak”
Or promoter of the Sikh religion in the Western Hemisphere.” But Mr. Tohra affirmed that Yogi Harbhajan’s services to the Sikh religion have “been appreciated by the S.G.P.C, ‘The letter was signed by, Bhai Hannder Singh Khalsa.
