PORT WASHINGTON, NY: A fund missing dinner organized by friends and well-wishers of the World Sikh News was well attended by Sikhs from the states of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut the main organizers were S. Jagjit Singh .Mangat and Dr.S.S.Dhami. The latter is also the chairman of the World Sikh News management committee, 5. Jagjit Singh Mangat is an ardent and zealous supporter of the WSN, ‘The participants were appreciative of the newspaper commitment to the Sikh cause and during the discussion held before the dinner many valuable suggestions were received for making the WSN reach out to members of the Sikh community all over the world, Some of the participants read out touching poems expressing the sufferings inflicted on the Sikhs in Punjab and the pathetic state of the Sikhs there.
Over a hundred new subscribers were added to readership of the newspaper, the management of the World Sikh News is grateful to all those participated in the event and helped make it a success.
