The World Sikh News has been providing its readers, for the last eight years, information about the continued oppression of the Sikhs in India. This is the only newspaper that has exclusively devoted itself to exposing the unprecedented atrocities inflicted upon its people by their own government Besides the Sikhs, the World Sikh News has served an effective medium for educating the people in the foreign lands of the alleged unending strife of the Sikhs and other minorities in India.
The hard work being put in by the Staff of the Newspaper is commendable. However there is a need for increased audience and also for the quality of the publication, The quality and the circulation can be improved, among other things, by widening the spectrum of information thus making it interesting for a larger audience. Perhaps the main limiting factor is the lack of financial resources. Hopefully the increased circulation will generate additional income. In any case keeping this publication strong is in the wider interests of the community.
