The International Hockey Federation (FIH) has decided to cancel the inaugural’ men’s world cup indoor hockey competition scheduled for Canberra in March, 1988.
Several teams had withdrawn from the event because it clashed with next year’s rearranged champ1ons trophy outdoor tournament in Pakistan, the FIH Said in a statement.
