The so called agreement reached between the Prime Minister of India and Sant H. S. Longowal on Punjab crisis has angered the Sikhs more than any other injury inflicted by the Government of India upon them.

The beauty is that Longowal is a leader of the Sikhs styled as such by the government of India and has no following in India and abroad.

The points covered in this so called agreement do not touch upon the real grievances of the Sikhs and more so these amount to mere shooting lines in the air. The only change this agreement has made is that SIKHS are now resolved more than ever before to intensify their efforts to break the shackles of slavery.
