LONDON: The Sikhs and Kashmiris in Britain held a protest demonstration in front of the Indian High Commission in London on August 15, the 43rd anniversary of Indian independence.

The protest demonstration was to mourn the hijacking of Indian independency by High Caste Hindus (the Brahmins) and the continuation of Kashmiris and Sikhs, like other minorities in India, in a state of slavery, albeit to new masters, even 43 years after the withdrawal of the British rulers from the sub-continent.

The demonstration was held in response to a call to observe August 15 as “Black Day” all over the world, made by the leaders of the Sikh and Kashmiri communities, and coordinated by Khalistan government in exile.
