India is burning, the minorities of Hindustan are forsaken, helpless and live in constant fear of the communal Hindu governments, at the Center and the state, India witnessed the rape of the Muslims in MP, Bihar, Gujrat and Maharashtra soon after the destruction of the Babri Masjid at Ayodhya and that is being followed up by the hapless nation ruled by a shamelessly incompetent Government. The communal Hindu parties are having a hay-day killing at random in order destroying the morale and spirit of the Indian minorities. The violence at Bombay indulged by the Shiva Sena acting as sword arm of the Hindu tva campaign launched by its chief Bal Thacheray is typical example of Hindu terrorism fully supported by the corrupt and bigoted administration for four days, Muslims in Bombay were singled out for annihilation and extermination in order to change the ethnic composition of the city which has hereto been a cosmopolitan metropolis. Here’s what India Today says, “Bombay stood into the abyss, and stepped back. For several monstrous days, it appeared as if the vibrant prosperous metropolis, developed in the past 200 years out of seven marshy fisherman’s islands, was rushing headlong towards total destruction. As Congress (I) leaders squabbled, the State Government was paralyzed and the police unable to deal the looting arson and murder, Even before the violence had subsided at least 300 people — were dead, hundreds of crores worth of property looted or destroyed, the entire: Muslims population terrorized and the encodes of the poor Muslims underway. Writes the citizens of Peace Committee in a letter to P.C, Alexander income in, Maharashtra Governor of Bombay z former Cabinet Secretary of the Infamous Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, “It was nothing short of a deliberate plan to change the ethnic composition of what was hereto regarded as a cosmopolitan city.” “The nature of noting indicated a I grand plan. The way Muslim owned shops, restaurants, timber marts, industrial units and even vehicles were targeted suggested that the marauders had precise information about their ownership.” Isn’t this the same familiar style of state asserted majority terrorism which was practiced against the Sikhs during the Nov, 1984 attack on the peaceful Sikh: community in Delhi when over 10000Sikhs were slaughtered by the Hindus led ‘by Rajiv Gandhi and his heinous gang, one of whom is now the Prime Minister of that country. What can the minorities expect from such Government? Which openly abets terrorism and its police force tums (0 look: the other way while thousands of helpless people are being slaughtered in cold blood.
