Rajiv Gandhi’s death in Madras came as no surprise to students of Indian history. There have been tensions and frictions between the nations which form India all along. Many intellectuals’ thinkers had wanted to have no part of Brahmanism in their society. Priya Ramaswamy was one such who knowing the pernicious caste system was at Aryan Hindu imposition on Dravidar society had demanded Dravidistan was back in the 1920s.
All his life Periyar urged fellow Dravidians to do away with Hinduism by whose caste system they had beer enslaved. He advocated mass conversion to Islam which preached equality and a casteless society because he knew religion was an important aspect in most people’s lives. Periyar was himself an atheist. One reason why Periyar is no well-known is the fact that his work is entirely in Tamil.
The resentment of the South Indian Dravidian peoples is a latent volcanic which will erupt sooner than later. The lava of discontent simmers It came to a boil in the 1960s when Hindi a north Indian so-called Aryan language was imposed on them in the name of unity. Periyar E.V.Ramaswamy’s thoughts are contained in a small booklet ‘The Salvation to Shudra Slavery’ published by the Dalit Sahitya Academy.

Separate Dravida Nadu:
Periyar decided to name the non-Brahmins or Backward Classes of South India as Dravidas. In 1927 soon after he left the Congress Party because of its anti-democratic policies he started a paper by the name Dravidian and began his campaign for a separate state to be called Dravida Nadu In 1939 Periyar met Sir Stafford Crips and presented to him a scheme for the creation of Dravida Nadu which however had no effect. Periyar was not supported in his separatist movement in the way Jinnah was supported about his scheme for Pakistan. In 1940 Periyar discussed about Dravida Nadu both with Jinnah and Dr. B.R.Ambedkar. From 1942 onwards Periyar engaged himself in changing the name of non-Brahmin given to many associations into Dravida Kazhagam (Dravida Sangam) and mounted a serious campaign for the separation of Dravida Nadu. By the name Dravida Nadu he actually meant the whole of South India covering the areas peopled by Tamils Telugus Kannadigas and Malaya lees. There has been and still there is only marginal support for the cause of Dravida Nadu in Tamil Nadu and practically none in the States of Andhra Pradesh Karnataka and Kerala.
In the 1944 Salem conference of the Justice Party (the South Indian Liberal Federation) Periyar who became the President of the party after its total defeat in the general elections of 1937 changed the name of the party to Dravida Kazhagam. Though Anna Durian got separated from Periyar to 1949 an formed the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) he did not choose to alter this Dravida name Before he passed away it December 1973 Periyar had the satisfaction of seeing his followers bring the peoples vote and form the Dravids: Government in 1967. The name Dravid: has come to stay in Tamil Nadu and i: likely to attract attention in the other areas of Dravidam
I am not advocating Islam i am not propagating it.
But this is the truth. I am not having extraordinary love friendship or faith with Muslims as compared to you all What | posit is that to kill the poisonous snake of Brahmanism or to escape front its monstrous tentacles Islam is the only medicine. Many friends have written to me to enlighten or warn me against my views. | request my friends and others to read this without anger or prejudice and without succumbing to religious dogmas.
The Hindu hatred against Muslims in India is because they hate Islam it must be noted that Islam is essentially antiAryan (anti-Hindu) and therefore it is hated by the Hindus. Islam is antiAryan because it shakes the very foundations of Aryanism
The Aryan religion otherwise called Hinduism consists of many gods each with a form and a name and one different from the other. The Hindus divided into many Castes and creeds. The castes are divided on the basis of inequality as Brahmins (high caste) shudra (low caste) and Pariahs (out-caste or last caste). We are part of this system occupying the lowest position.
Islam has only one god and that god is form less. There are no castes divisions high and low in it. There is no high and low on the basis of birth there is no first middle and low caste in Islam.
To be brief Islam has one god one caste or one group. This is also the fundamental principle of the Dravidian and very much needed also. On the basis of polytheism the Aryans have obtained many comforts and benefits. On the other hand the Dravidas have inherited many evils low status and honor-less jobs. For these weighty reasons Brahmins dislike Islam which affords scope for Shudras and Pariahs to improve their position.
If all people take to Islam there will be ho caste and no Brahmin in the land. Plurality of gods and idols will have no place. The money spent in propitiating the gods with food and other things will be saved. All this have made the Brahmin bitter about Islam for long. He has therefore falsely campaigned against Islam to poison the minds of Hindus. The Aryan slaves namely the Shudras have also joined in the race against Islam and in consequence have learnt to dislike the Muslims in general
But the same Hindus do not hate Christianity Sikhism Arya Samaj Brahma Samaj Buddhism with as much force as they do Islam the fact is all these religions hate Islam as much as the Hindus do. So much so there is unanimity i hating Islam for various reasons. Som Brahmins have even joined Christianity and some happily work in Christian establishments. The Hindu convert t Christianity or Sikhism are allowed freely practice their old caste practices it their new religion

The coming freedom swarajyam (in. dependence) is going to be disastrous for us. The 75% of the Dravidian people have to exist as Hanumans Vibhishanas Mr.Avinasalingam and like-minded Dravidian pandits knights (Sirs) with bells ringing in their tails would be dancing to the true of Brahmins singing Rama Bhajans only to get crushed in the political process.
What a shame In my own country an¢ with my own tax-money if I don’t have manly strength does it mean I should know-tow to the Aryan petition to him for my rights worship and dance before him? Just because there are some Dravidians who are prepared to serve the Brahmins calling themselves as Hindus (Shudras) should the others also join the Salish path? To escape from his stigma Islam (meaning I am not Hindu) is the best mantra. I am not saying this just today. I have been saying this from 1919 and 1920 for the last over 28 years. I have not thereby lost my reputation with the people. The reason is there is no other method for eradicating degradation.
So far no doctor has found a medicine to cure this disease.
The way we are treated:
The Brahmin officers criticize and demean the Dravidian subordinates. They pick holes in their work and dispirit them. I will give one example. Mr.Ponnambalam alias Kanakasabai is a Tamil Pandit in the Salem High School He has a little Dravidian feeling. He is one who can speak Tamil in pure style without mixing Sanskrit words and this irritates the Brahmin Apart from this he is considered quite efficient and honest. One day he was excitedly explaining the difference between Aryans and Dravidians in the class as this point was mentioned in the textbook. The headmaster an Aryan who was passing by the classroom eavesdropped and step Ping into the class room criticized the teacher in the singular and asked the teacher to apologize. Ponnam balam replied to say that he has done no wrong and would not apologize. Instead he demanded the apology of the Headmaster for having abused and shamed him in front of his students. Taken aback the Headmaster pacified the teacher Saying that all he meant was that all Indians should behave as brothers Later he managed to persuade some students to write to the municipal commissioner complaining that the teacher was communal and sowing seeds of discord. The municipal commissioners though 75% non-Brahmin was mostly slavish minded. Efforts are on i believe expel this Tamil teacher. This way ery effort is made to enslave the Drave and strengthen the traditional position the Brahmins Brahmin collectors are the others in most degrading and insult manner. Why? The government is of Manu after all.
The Adi-Dravidas and the Muslin though not much respected are being treated better than the Dravidas. Because of some reservations they are bound to get their share in due courts they have the facility to represent the grievances before high authorities. The Man Periyar EV. Ramaswamy (1879-1973). Is rated among the greatest Indian of the 20 Century Periyar (meaning great man in Tamil) a legend even to this day rose to great heights becoming the faith: of Indian Dravidian movement and t} country’s fiercest fighter against Brahmanism the curse of India. It is he who fought to give the lowly Shudras self-respect and drove out the tiny Brahm community of exploiters from politic power in Tamil Nadu and installed (1967) for the first time the non-Brahmin rut He told M_.Gandhi point blank that fc the vast slaves of India self-respect should come before the self-rule
He quit the Congress Party which called as the country’s main Brahmin party. He opposed Hindi language bi cause it helped Aryan domination today TN is considered one of the mo. progressive states in the country the credit goes to Periyar. It is he who mad the ancient Tamil a jewel among the Indian languages. India has not seen t this day a more powerful personality who fought Brahmanism with such vigor such determination such sincerity an such scientific precision Always oppose to parliamentary politics and the sham democracy he declined the British offer (1940) to become the Prime Minister it was then called) of TN. The UNESCC citation presented to him reads Periyar the prophet of the new age the Socrates of South-East Asia Father to the social reform movement and arc) enemy of ignorance superstition meaningless customs and baseless manners’ (UNESCO June 26,1970).
To divert the attention of Dravidian: from their national aspirations Mrs Gandhi incited and helped Tamil rebels in Sri Lanka She allocated several million dollars’ worth of Indian Rupees to buy armor & Supplies. With the help of research and analysis wing Lebanese and Israeli veterans trained the Sri Lankan Tamils and a ship was purchased to ferry weapons to the Tamil areas of Northern Sri Lanka In July 1987 Rajiv concluded an accord with Sri Lanka government realising if Tamils established sovereign state in Sri Lanka that will inspire the Tamils in Southern India. Indian army killed thousands of Tamils in Lanka. Gandhi is reported to have met with a Tiger leader Kasi Anandan in New Delhi on March 5 to discuss ways in which he could help settle Sri Lanka civil war once he regained Prime Minister ship. A self-sacrificing Tamil girl was motivated to avenge the death of thousands of her people at the hands of Rajiv’s army.-
