It is with a feeling of utmost regret that I wish to inform the readers of the Indo Canadian Times regarding an article written by Khushwant Singh Journalist of New Delhi India and published titled “AAJ DA Punjab” on Nov.12. How the publishers of this paper would even consider an article like the above is difficult to reconcile and comprehend.
Every movement has phases during its evolution and political movements are continuous and ongoing till the goals are achieved. To belittle the utmost sacrifices made by our brave martyrs Harjinder Singh (Jinda) and Sukhdev Singh (Sukha) is of course sheer propaganda against them and to lose this vision and bring forth false inuendos that are baseless and unproven is a disservice to the cause of the Sikhs. A series of propaganda news is being sent out by the Indian government controlled media and this will continue intermittently but our dream is viable and all of us must stand by it and for the Indo Canadian Times to succumb is hard to justify and really inexcusable
