Burail happens to be among the few old villages in the region with a Muslim predominance normally the users of the Sector 45 yard come from Burail. Some of the Muslim martyrs of the 1971 war hailing from this village were buried here recalls Zia-ul-Haq a resident of Burail adding that the Muslims could not part with the memories of their nears-and-dears any cost.
The Administration should view the matter seriously as it involves religious feelings as well” says Chander Gupta an elderly citizen
A senior official concemed who preferred anonymity said “Though it is nowhere in the City plan to have a graveyard located inside the colony we are helpless to resolve the issue”
