KATHMANDU: India will supply 40,000 tons of wheat to Nepal during the next few months to tide over the food crisis in the Himalayan kingdom.
An agreement to this effect was signed early Monday morning between J Nilakanta, executive director (commercial) Food Corporation of India and Nirmal Kumar Bista, general manager of the Nepal Food Corporation here.
The wheat is valued at Rs.18 crore.
