AGRA (PTT): The World Bank has approved a 210 million rupee loan for the Agra Development Project (ADP) for maintenance of the historic city and development of its infrastructural facilities.

However it is quite possible that the funds of the World Bank may be instead siphoned off to buy arms forth Indian security forces, According to chief town officer J.Vishnu, this phase of the development project includes funds for solid waste management, maintenance, traffic engineering, trans port and infrastructural facilities.
