After the successful World Sikh Organization Convention here recently, the WSO President, S Gurcharan Singh Dhilion led a delegation to several prominent US leaders, among them a long-time friend and supporter of the Sikhs, Congressman Wally Herger, to apprise them of the grim developments in Punjab. Mr. Herger was told of the unabated state terrorism and the deployment of the Indian army in unprecedented numbers in the forcibly occupied Sikh Homeland, Mr Herger assured the Sikh leaders of his efforts to make India accountable for its terrible human rights violations.
