For six years, Ranjit Gill and Sukhminder Singh have been jailed on false charges brought by an Indian Government determined to use its corrupt legal system to persecute all those who favor independence for Khalistan. The Indian Government, despite its use of false evidence and despite its lies to the American courts, has still been unable to force these young men to return to India.
Sukhminder Singh and Ranjit Gill have outlasted many of their persecutors, including Rajiv Gandhi. However, we have a very long battle ahead of us. The Indian Government continues to demand there turn of these young men, so that they may be tortured and Criminated in a false en counter. We know that one day, Ranjit Gilland Sukhminder Singh will return to the land of their births, when that day comes, it is our hope that they will return to a country where Sikhs live in peace, equality, and with justice.
