AYODHYAINDIA (PTD): The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) the front organization of the majority Hindus has said it would go to “any extent” to achieve the goal of reconstruction of a Ram Temple at Ayodhya.
Addressing a large number of visiting Vidyarthi Parishad (Student Wing) delegates here in the temple town in northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh on Nov.12 the VHP general secretary Ashok Singhal warned the Center and the Muslim leaders that Ram Janmabhoomi issue “has created a solid Hindu vote bank and if their interest is ignored we will show our solidarity for the construction of temple come what may.”
The Kar Sewa will be restarted from December 6 with construction of main entrance gate “Singhadwar” followed by “Nritya Mandap” (celebration hall) and “Sabha Mandap” (assembly hall) he said.
“In the due course the stone structure of Mir Baki at the disputed shrine will be removed” Singhal said adding “this is the structure which is a painful reminder against the Hindu sentiments.”
He warned the Center against using force on the Kar Sewaks (the volunteers opening services for the temple reconstruction).
The VHP leader urged Muslim leaders to recognize the old archaeological finds recovered which gave clear evidence of the existence of an ancient Hindu temple at the site of birth of Rama worshipped by Hindus as the incarnation of Lord Vishnu and held in great esteem as the symbol of Indian culture and heritage.
