SIMILA India: The Director Institute of Oriental Studies US.S.R. Academy of Sciences Prof. M.S. Tapesla said here that he is for eliminating nuclear weapons. Delivering a lecture in H.P. University Auditorium, Prof. Tapesla explained the efforts of U.S.S.R. strengthening the security of the area. The U.S.S.R. would like to improve its relations with other countries but not at the cost of its friendships, he said. He said that U.S.S.R.’s nuclear devices were sophisticated enough to instantaneously diffuse the nuclear force of a country which may try to use against India.
