LONDON: Noted Indian jurist Nani Palkhivala has said although India’s unity and integrity is at stake, Indian society will soon overcome its drawbacks and acquire the requisite political culture.

An attitude of tolerance, mutual respect and goodwill can alone make democracy workable, said Palkhivala while delivering the annual Jawaharlal Nehru memorial lecture on 43 years of independence at Trinity College, Cambridge Wednesday evening.
