WASHINGTON, DC: The East Coast Sikh community staged a disciplined protest outside the Russian Embassy in Washington, to condemn Moscow’s Machiavellian role in the Bosnian genocide.

Sikh men, women and children, all colorfully dressed, congregated at the Russian Embassy to remember the beleaguered people of Bosnia who have been abandoned by the world and are being systematically slaughtered by the Serbs.

One demonstrator told the press that he had/empathy for the Bosnian people as being a Sikh, he and his coreligionists, are also suffering under the oppressive rule of the Brahmin coteries in India. Some placards reminded the world that silence encouraged the Nazis to murder millions of Jews, Gypsies and other minorities in Europe in the 30’s and 40’s of this century. Never again read one.

The Sikh community’s gesture of demonstrating for the beleaguered Muslims of Bosnia with whom they have no historical connection, who are not their coreligionists was appreciated by everyone who happened to hear or witness the picketing outside the Embassy.

The demonstration was organized by the Khalistan Affairs Center and the Sikh Youth of America.
