LONDON: Two Indians are among the six Black and Asians who have won a seat in the British Parliament.

A sitting labor MP Dr. Ashok Kumar who had entered the House of Commons last year in a by election however lost to the Tories The fourth candidate of Indian origin contesting from winnable seats Andrew Surendra Popat standing on conservative ticket from Bradford South also failed to wrest the seat from labor.

Three other labor sitting MPs of AFRO-Caribbean origin also retained their seats they have Diane Abbot from hockey north Paul boating (Berth South) and Bernice grant from totter ham.
