CHANDIGARH: Two Indian Air Force planes collided in the air and crashed killing eight crew members in the north Indian state of Punjab Wednesday night.
The Two AN-32 planes collided in mid-air and then one crashed near Boothgarh and the other at Pari villages of Ludhiana district reports reaching the police at the state headquarters here said.
The fields where they crashed were extensively burnt but no one on the ground was injured.
