Dear Editor,

It is difficult for me to express tributes and homage with appropriate words to two great beloved Martyrs and two shinning Stars Bhai Sukhdev Singh ‘Sukha’ and Bhai Harjinder Singh “Jinda’ for their unique sacrifices for the cause of Sikh faith and independence of Sikh nation. Along with other great martyrs they were considered great pillars of Khalistan movement. Only the chosen few got the honor of laying down their lives, Their unique sacrifices will also be long remembered in the Sikh history and traditions for their bravery and courage. They have shown at the time of their execution on Oct8,1992. They were true Sikh heroes of whom the Sikh nation is justly proud. They will ever remain in the hearts of millions of Sikhs an inspiration for the future generations. Their sacrifice is a wakeup call to India to negotiate sovereignty and stay out of Khalistan, for their act of bravery, our Sikh Gurus have provided also a special place for Sukha & Jinda in their Heavenly abroad and Darbar. Finally I appreciate the celebration of martyrdom day of Sukha and Jinda on Oct.9,&10, 1993 at Fremont Sikh Gurdwara Salub. T salute the Sangat of Bay Area and Youth of America’s organizers. 1 pray wholeheartedly for the victory of Khalsa Panth and wish they work together to achieve the goal for which Sukha and Jinda and many other martyrs gave their lives.
