SAN JOSE,CA: Congressman Robert Torricelli, Democrat of Englewood, New Jerscy will be visiting three Gurdwaras in North California on May 16,1993 where he will be honored by the Sikh congregations for his service to the Sikh community. The Gurdwaras Torricelli will visit include Sikh Gurdwara San Jose; Gurdwara Sahib Fremont; and Sikh Center, El Sobrante, Torricelli will deliver a short speech at each of these Gurdwaras and shed light on the atrocities committed by the government of India against the Sikhs, Muslims, Christians, and other minorities. He will visit the Sikh Gurdwara San Jose at about 11 a.m. from where he will go to Gurdwara Sahib Fremont at about 12 p.m, and after that the Sikh Center in El Sobrante at about 1:15 p.m. Congressman Torricelli 1s known for his support to the Sikhs and a bitter critic of the India regime: He will be accompanied by prominent Sikh leaders.
