Indian high commissioner of Sa Lanka, N.NJha, in an informal chat with reporters at the as airport August4 said the External Affairs ministry had requested Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the assassination, to send officials to Colombo to work out the modalities for extradite Sort out the judicial procedures. The Sri Lankan government had asked India to make a formal request and “Delhi is yet to decide on this complex Matter,” Jha said.
