BOMBAY: Leading Hindi film heroine of the eighties, Tina Munim was Dec 13 engaged to Anil Ambani, younger son of business tycoon Dhiru bhai Ambani, at a simple ceremony held at the latter’s residence in south Bombay.
Members of the Ambani and Munim families and a few close friends were present at the ceremony.
The wedding will take place in February next year.
Tina made her debut in Dev Anand’s “des Pardes” in 1979 and later paired with thespian Sunil Dutt’s son, Sanjay Dutt in “Rocky”.
