JAMMU: Three persons were killed and seven others injured three of them seriously, in a bomb blast in a bus near Jammu airport, on the outskirts of the city on May 15.
According to the police officials, a grenade was thrown, around 9:30 p.m. from a window of the bus, near Indira Nagar. The bus was on its way to the border town of Ranbir Singh Pura, from Jammu.
‘The police officials said that the Chinese made grenade exploded al the rear end of the bus, which was jampacked. Three persons died on the spot and seven were injured, the injured were taken to the SMGS hospital.
Two of the dead have been identified as Puran Chand and Kamal Kumar of Miran Sahib.
