WASHINGTON: G.G.S.F in Washington D.C. has recently published a special issue of the Magazine “The Sikh Vision” on concept of Sewa and dedicated it to late Bhagat Puran Singh founder of Pingalwara Amritsar. He was an embodiment of the spirit of selfless Sewa and for more than half a century, he healed bodies and souls of the sick, old, homeless and afflicted with his personal touch, On August 5,1992, he left this world for his heavenly abode. G.G.S.F. has the unique honor of getting Bhagat ji nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. Several academicians. And law makers from U.S.A., U.K., Canada and India were contacted who were more than happy to write their letters of recommendations in support of Bhaget ji as the most deserving and worthy candidate for this coved prize, Background material on Bhagat ji was provided by Dr1.J.Singh of New York University.

The last issue of the magazine focused on the Sikh perspective on the environment, an issue of global concern. “The Sikh Vision” endeavors to bring awareness about issues of contemporary importance from the Sikh point of view.
