ETABICOKE: Last Wednesday, the Panjabi Cultural Society of Humber, which is now more than
One year old, elected its new office bearers. New executive members were elected through polling and the results were declared by Hargumar Singh, former president of the society, According to the results, Sushinder Kaur elected as the president, Manjit Singh as vice president (boys), Manjit Kaur as vice president (girls) and Sandeep Singh General Society. Six member executive committee also includes two former presidents. This meeting was presided by society’s founder president, Ranvinder Singh, Joe Grogan (faculty) and S.Gureharan Singh (students) taken as the advisors of the society, Panjabi Cultural Society was formed in July 1992 and it did significant contribution in making the students, staff and faculty aware of the culture, language, literature and customs of Panjab.
