BANGALORE: Devi Lal, who was made to look as the most hated leader of the country only two months back, has suddenly become the darling of the upper castes. We wrote three editorials on this: “Force midterm election on Mandal Report” (Aug.1), “Wanted a Press for SC/ST/BCs and Minorities” (Aug.16) and “Mandal Commission chums…” (Sept.1) in support of Devi. There is no word of abuse which the brahmanical press and brahmanical forces did not use against him. They prevailed upon VP Singh to dismiss him and he obliged them. But the same Devi is today courted by the upper castes because he opposed the Mandal Commission report. We will not be surprised if they make him the leader of antiMandal crusade.

Devi is a Jat and a nonHindu. Jats are Greeks. They hate Brahminism and their Aryan religion. This is the secret of the upper caste hatred of Jats, Out of disgust many Jats embraced Sikhism. The brahmanical forces have not forgiven the Jats and hence they are kept outside all positions of power. They only own some lands in Haryana and Western UP. Tikayat may be the leader of farmers. But they have nothing else. If Jats are not backward who else is backward? Hence their claim to be BCs is fully justified, But owing to some differences of opinion among Jat leaders, the Mandal Commission did not include them in the BC list. This was the main complaint of Charan Singh against Mandal. Devi carries the same grouse. VP would do well to correct this mistake and include Jats in the BC list. Laws of contradictions Or else the brahminical forces, who have mastered the laws of contradiction, are sure to exploit the situation and use the Jat muscle power to fight Mandal.

SC/ST/BCs and minorities also must master the laws of contradictions to secure their human rights. They must know when to use what and how. Nazis hated Devi and finished Devi. And once they succeeded, they used the same. Devi to beat Mandal. This is called using the different contradictions. Devi was once the “principal contradiction” to upper castes. Once he is eliminated and Mandal turns out to be the principal contradiction, the earlier principal contradiction (Devi), which by now turned into a “no antagonistic contradiction”, can be used to fight the new principal contradiction. Devi is foolish enough not to understand this. The fight against brahminical forces is not through brawn but brain. The less than 10% upper caste forces are keeping over 85% of the people as slaves by mastering the laws of contradictions.
