The Guru-oriented seeks the shelter of the Guru and reverently bows his head to him with great devotion, he prostrates before the Guru
He heartily accepts the Guru’s wisdom, and gives up his ego.
He spontaneously surrenders himself to the will of God.
He links his consciousness to the Guru’s hymns, and obeys his commands.
With his love and devotion to the congregation, he understands his real self.
Like the moth’s love for the flame, he feels deeply attracted to the Guru’s presence. Being imbued with the Holy name, he drinks the nectar of love.
