My Dear WSN,

Greetings from “The Sikh Review,”.

As the popular World Sikh News enters its ninth year of continuous publication, we at the Sikh Cultural Center extend to you our felicitations and good wishes for the future.

Your Weekly has upheld/high standards of journalism and reportage in mirroring the thoughts and aspirations of ethnic minorities, with the focus on The Sikh struggle for “the glow of freedom” envisioned by leaders of yore.

As WSN steps into its crucial years, with formidable challenges confronting the Sikhs in their homeland, greater vigilance and dedication are called for, especially on the moral and cultural planes.

The dilemma of the Sikhs is that, endowed with such a glorious heritage and dynamic enterprise, we have been bogged down by divisions, bigotry and political ineptitude. The need for spiritual and moral regeneration should therefore be your and our main concern in the years to come.

I join thousands of your readers in wishing WSN Godspeed and a Happy Anniversary!.

 Saran Singh.
