BANGKOK, THAILAND: Four pro-democracy parties agreed Monday to set up a coalition government led by Chuan Leckpai after scoring a narrow victory over pro-military groups in weekend elections, a party spokesman said.

Banyat Banthadtan, deputy leader of the top-polling Democratic Party, said the agreement was reached by representatives of his party and the New Aspiration, Power of Virtue and Solidarity parties.
