COLOMBO (PTI): A Tamil group “Eliaian Force” has claimed responsibility for a series of born blasts in ‘Colombe on April 8 and said this was a “working” to forcing investors and tourists.
In an unsigned statement, the “Ellalan Force” said the April 8 attack was a warning. “The attack was carefully planned to avoid human killings, because it was just a warning attack.” The basis had claimed one life and wounded six others.
“But in future, foreigners who enter Sri Lanka will definitely get killed,” it said
The statement said that while no country was trying to solve the ethnic problem, they were supplying bombs, tanks and warships and aircraft to the Sri Lanka government to kill the Tamils.
“Not only that, to collect money to kill the Tamils, the foreigners were helping the Sinhala government from tourism and commercial investments. The Ellalan force will not allow the supply of money to kill the Tamils by the foreigners,” it said.
The same Tamil group had claimed responsibility for a bomb blast in a passenger bus near Anuradhapura on Jan, 19 this year saying it was in retaliation for aerial bombings of Jaffri’s by the Lankan air force.
