JALANDHAR: In a significant move the Damdami Taksal extended support to the Akali Dal president SS. Mann saying that the Taksal has entrusted him with political tasks.
Taksal spokesman Malkiat Singh said Mann was a Sewadar of the panth. The Taksal head Baba Thakur Singh met Mann for over two hours at the Taksal headquarters prior to this.
Baba Thakur Singh appealed to all Sikhs to support Mann ignoring all rumors of his secret meetings with Tohra, Badal and AISSF leaders, which were floated by vested interests.
