NEW DELHI (PTI): British Prime Minister John Major ended his four day visit to India Jan.28. During the visit, India and Britain signed two agreements a joint venture gas company and production of specialized software engineering packages in aeronautics, furthering Indo British economic relations.
Besides the joint ventures the two countries signed a revised agreement for avoidance of double taxation which would considerably step up British investment and technology flow to India.
