Let Rajiv’s sycophants and admirers who are unduly and irrationally agitated over a few words strung in a sentence in a book entitled ‘My Presidential years’ written by an ex-president, await the verdict of history regarding Rajiv’s rule {n anti Sikh riots of 1984 and subsequent suppression of justice in punishing those who participated in riots and rather elevation of same of the leading riot perpetrators to ministerial positions, The present Prime Minister of India who was Rajiv’s home minister in 1984 meekly and Obediently toed the line drawn by his leader and to quote eminent journalists, Kushwant Singh distinguished himself by doing nothing, The Prime Minister, seems to have surpassed himself by playing a dubious rote in Babri Masjid demolition. Still admirers of Rao call him Kara Yogi (man of action). Woe betides such leaders. Furthermore the hostile image of Rajiv embedded in the psyche of the Sikhs and the Tamils Ca never be erased for centuries to Camelot thousand Sekhars coufer on him.
