Regarding the constitution of special teams of officers, Kapur said that the commissioner (Jalandhar division) N.K Arora, along with Sarabjit Singh, IG (PAP), Jalandhar had been entrusted Jalandhar, Kapurthala and Hoshiarpur districts while Mr. Bhardwaj special secretary and director, banking and institutional finance, along with Gurbachan Jagat managing director of police housing corporation would be in charge of the police districts of Amritsar. Tarn Taran and parts of the Majitha police district comprising Beas, Mehta, Jandiala and Lopoke police stations.
Mr. R. Banger special secretary relief and rehabilitation and S.R. Sharma IG (Computer) have been entrusted with the police districts of Gurdaspur Batala and parts of Majitha district comprising Ajnala Ramasdas and Katha Nangal police stations. The commissioner of Patiala division and Sube Singh IG (Crime) have been allotted Patiala, Ropar Ludhiana and Sangur districts whereas the commissioner, Ferozepur division along with K.K. Sharma, IG police has been given the districts of Ferozepur, Faridkot and Bhatinda.
