STOCKON ,Ca.: The South East Asian Sports Association (SEASA) was formed here in the library hall of Stockton Gurdwara,
At the meeting hosted by WSN, a committee was formed, from which the office bearers will be nominated. The governing body will be composed of five Board of Directors, three members Disciplinary Committee, a President and a Secretary. Furthermore, it will have three vice Presidents and three Vice Secretaries.
In a dialogue with this correspondent, Mr. harbhajan Singh Gill of Yuba City, and he aims to bring the youngsters in the community to participate and win sports scholarships. As a soccer coach he observed “young kids being kicked out of school, doing drugs and other unthinkable yet true acts”. Maybe he feels this way he can put a stop to that and make the kids concentrate on the real purpose in their lives.
This organization will usher in better discipline, timing and organizing of tournaments. The SEASA will cater to games like soccer, field hockey. Volley ball, tennis, baseball, kabbadi, track and field events and wrestling. One of the first aims would be to do well in Northern California and then cover the whole North American continent.
Mr. Gill is quite confident of this pet project of his, going from strength to strength. The following constitute the committee:

The nominated office bearers are expected to be announced during next week.
