Sir,

The remarks by U.S. Congressman Stephen J. Solarz NY Democrat have thrown even diplomacy to the winds and openly goes on to say that Jammu and Kashmir will remain with India, for the next 42 centuries.

The recent events in the Eastern Europe and other places have clearly indicated that even a solitary year is good enough to change this world and Rep Solarz talks of 42 centuries. Either he has to go to school again or he is an Indian govt agent, masquerading as an U.S. Congressman. Mr. Solarz who exactly are you trying to please? Your rightful place is the Indian parliament and not the U.S. congress which values the rights of individual freedom and justice. If you can free Panama from Noriega, why cannot Kashmiris and Sikhs in India ask for their freedom? The destabilization of India is not eternal rather; it is the making of its rulers, who have failed miserably to unite that fragmented country in its forty odd years of freedom. Mr. Solarz Indians do not think, act and talk as one so how do you predict that Kashmiri will be part of India after 42 centuries.

Mr. Congressmen it would be better if you were to resign and let somebody else from New York serve in your place. You have no right to be there. You failed to preserve the integrity of the US congress and be ashamed of your deeds. Peace is not a one way traffic, and before that there has to be justice. Just like the minorities in USA have been denied their rights, so are they in India? Mr. Solarz its time you understood the minorities in India and for how long they have been slaves. It would be proper for you to understand the real India rather than be a spokesman for the govt of India. Your knowledge of international affairs is mediocre and needs to be upgraded immediately.
