ISLAMABAD: The prime minister of Azad Kashmir, Raja Mumtaz Hussain Rathore, has rejected a suggestion by U.S. congressman Stephen Solarz that elections be held in Kashmir as a substitute for plebiscite.
If the Indian leadership upheld international accords on Kashmir, it would not only bring about a lasting phase of friendship between the two neighbors, but also usher in a new era of peace and prosperity in the entire South Asian region, he stated.
