BARODA: Ashok Bhogilal Patel a close confidant of India’s external affairs minister Madhavsingh Solanki was shot dead outside the Baroda railway station.
Patel was fired at with a U.S made revolver allegedly by a 28yt-old man Paresh Chauhan who was arrested by the railway police. Chauhan reportedly told the police that Patel had not made certain payments to him as contracted even after he carried out the job for him.
