TOKYO: The parents of a Japanese exchange student shot dead in Louisiana by a man who thought he was an intruder gave the U.S. ambassador petitions Dec.15 signed by 40000 people calling for U.S. gun control.
The signatures given to Ambassador Michael Arm cost are among 800000 collected by the parents of Yoshihiro Hattori 16 who died in October.
“T think this issue will never be solved unless the United States takes it seriously and takes action” said Masakazu Hattori the boy’s father.
