CALCUTTA (PTI): B and R Foundation, promoted by anon resident Indian, Dr, Shibu Basathakur, may Shift its project of a telemedicine village other state if the West Bengal government failed to provide the land within 30 days reports financial express.
Speaking to newspersons” here recently, Dr.Basuthakur said ale though he wanted to put up the Project in his native state, west Bengal, he may be compelled move to another state in the sense of the right kind of backup from the state government.
Although the state government had given him a verbal assurance for the allotment of a piece of land in Tollygunge, he was yet t0 receive the papers. Moreover, with the delay in the allotment of land, the project would have both a cost and time over on, he said.
Dr.Basuthakur said, “I have told the state government authorities that if they fail to provide me with the relevant papers of the land within a month’s time, I will be compelled to move either to Orissa or New Delhi”
According to sources Indian Oil Corporation has also bid for a portion of the land that B and R proposed to take for their project.
