BEUING: The Indian foreign secretary Muchkund Dubey arrived in Beijing Sunday for the third round meeting of the joint working group on the boundary question and vice-foreign ministerial level consultations on issues of common concern.

Dubey was received at the airport by vice-foreign minister Xu Dunxin and deputy director of the Chinese foreign ministry’s Asia department, Madame Zhang Lian as well as other officials.

The talks between Dubey and Xuare to begin Monday morning. The Indian foreign secretary will be assisted by Ambassador C.V.Ranganathan, joint secretary Shyam Saran and officer on special duty Nirupama Rao.

The join Lal December 1988 during the visit to Beijing of the then prime minister Rajiv Gandhi.
