GANGTOK, (PTI): Sikkim chief minister N.B. Bhandari dropped static industry minister P.K. Chamling from the cabinet as part of his plans to reshuffle cabinet.
Chamling, who was also in charge of information and public relations department, received a communiqué from Governor R.H. Tahiliyani informing him that he had been dropped from the ministry immediately, on the advice and recommendation of Bhandari.
Political sources said anew minister is expected to be sworn-in, to replace Chamling.
